Adrenaline Takes Over Osaka: X Games Returns to Japan June 20–22
Osaka, Japan — The X Games are back in full force this weekend, bringing three days of non-stop action and high-energy performances to Osaka’s iconic Kyocera Dome. From June 20–22, the world’s top athletes in skateboarding, BMX, and Moto X will compete in what’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting X Games events ever held in Asia.
This year marks a special edition of the event as it coincides with the highly anticipated Expo 2025, giving the city a double dose of global attention.
What’s Happening
The competition features 11 major events across fan-favorite sports:
- Skateboarding: Men’s and Women’s Street, Park, and Vert competitions. This year includes Japan’s first-ever Women’s Vert contest.
- BMX: Expect high-flying action in Street, Park, Park Best Trick, and Flatland categories.
- Moto X: Riders will battle it out in the Best Trick showdown, with special demos filling in the gaps.
Star Athletes Lining Up
Several world-renowned athletes are confirmed to compete, including:
- Arisa Trew, a rising skateboarding sensation and recent X Games Park gold medalist.
- Yohei Uchino, Japan’s own Flatland legend with multiple titles under his belt.
